Marquardt Water Specialists Inc. is an established family business with well drilling roots dating back to 1948.
The first drill rig was purchased by Terry's grandfather (Verner Marquardt). Terry's father (Earl) became active in the drilling business in 1955. As the company grew, it incorporated in 1977 under the name Earl V. Marquardt & Son Inc.
Even as a student Terry worked part time in the family business. In 1975 Terry became a full-time employee. As the year progressed, Terry took on total responsibility of the business. Pump installations and related services quickly fell into place to provide the customer with quality and dependability from the ground to the tap.

Marquardt Water Specialists Inc. has grown to become a complete ground water service provider.

Terry and his family have always been aware of the importance of protecting groundwater. Terry served for fourteen years as a director of the Ontario Groundwater Association, including two years as vice-president and three years as president. During 2002-2003 Terry also held a position as a director on the Canadian Ground Water Association board.

Terry and his family are strong believers in giving back to the public and to the industry that have helped develop their business. They are confident that a quality product, along with superior service, will insure that this family business will continue to thrive.
